  Fusion club's workshop on "Pronounciation and Intonation in the English Language"
   
 

Fusion club had organized a workshop on “Pronounciation and Intonation in the English Language ” at Ramjas School, R.K.Puram, Sec – 4 on  12thJuly '07 between 9am to 1.30pm. The workshop was held by Mrs. Shefali Ray,ELT expert ,resource person for British Council which was attended by forty four pre primary teachers from 27 schools .

The workshop focused on the needs of Primary School teachers from schools that has English as the medium of instruction.It enable them to know the interactive ways of teaching the phonetics to the students. It gave them an understanding about the scope of Pronounciation and Intonation in English language. It provided them a platform of exchanging ideas.

It began with a welcome note by Ms. Meena Balachandran,The principal, Ramjas School, R.K.Puram which was followed by the session taken by Ms. Shefali Ray .The session was made highly interactive using worksheets.Lots of emphasis was given to pronounciation and Intonation during the activities.
