Intel chips in between Students Teacher and schools
The Department of Education of Osmania University in collaboration with Srujana Sneha,
arranged campus recruitment for member schools of Srujana Sneha.
Srujana Sneha is an Intel® sponsored Master Trainer National Educators Network in Hyderabad.
Objective of the Campus Recruitment.
- To provide a good meeting ground for the schools and the graduating B.Ed students who are interested in
seeking
career opportunities at various schools of the city.
- To enable member schools to recruit teachers who can implement TAL in the teaching and learning process
The interviews were held on 12th April 2007 at IASE, Osmania University between
2 pm to 5 pm. Directors, principals, head mistress and teachers representing various member schools were present. Over 100 Teacher Trainees representing 10 B.Ed colleges across Hyderabad attended it.
The recruitment drive was successful and about 80 teachers got short listed for the second round of interview. The member schools are taking this initiative as an important landmark in teacher selection
process and have given suggestions for next such event. Srujana Sneha has not patted its back yet and is going ahead to conduct an In-Service Refresher Course under the aegis of Intel® Teach Program for
the selected Teacher Trainees before they join the schools.

An excellent initiative taken by Srujna Sneha. The platform for campus recruitment has provided a wide scope for job aspirants as a number of schools participated in the event. The preferable time for such
recruitment process is in January / February as schools would have sufficient time to call the candidates for demonstration after the first round of preliminary know – how.
