Technology has the potential to bring
about a drastic change in the traditional teaching
methodology. With this ideology in mind, the Intel®
Teach Program was initiated in Februray 2000
Under the initial phase of the program, 'Classic Program’,
4, 41,543 teachers from spread across 35 cities were trained. From January 2003, the focus of the program narrowed down
to the Government and Government aided schools.
Under this program, an initiative has been launched to train school teachers belonging to Government funded schools.
