youth in a knowledge economy by bridging the digital divide. It is focused at meeting the
needs of an emerging market where young people may have limited access to technology

Intel® Learn Program in India
Intel® Learn Program was launched in Mallapuram, Kerala in June 2004 in collaboration with Kerala State IT Mission, (KSITM) aiming to improve technical
fluency, critical thinking, problem solving skills and collaboration among youth through effective community based education propagated by successful
models of learning outside the formal school setting. The program is implemented through the Akshaya centres, located in Malappuram district.
In February 2005, Intel in collaboration with Department of IT and Directorate of Education, Govt of NCT launched the Intel® Learn program in
the select Government Schools under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA).
Intel® Learn entered into a partnership with the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) in July 2005. Intel® Learn Program curriculum has been chosen for the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India’s Pace Setting Program. All JNV’s, during the vacations conduct the ‘Pace Setting Program’ as a part of providing quality education to children with little or no access to technology and the target group comprise of children from nearby villages.
Intel® entered into an agreement in October 2005 with Chandigarh Administration to launch Intel® Learn program for children based in villages around Chandigarh. The program has been initiated jointly with Department of IT, and Department of Public Instructions (Schools), Chandigarh Administration. The training is conducted in schools under DPI (Schools), Chandigarh Administration, post school hours.
-Till date a total of 30,189 learners from all around the country have been trained under this program.
