IRIS 2008: Initiative in Research and Innovation in Science The DST-CII-Intel partnership is the merger of two programs with a common mission of promoting the spirit of Science, the Intel Science Talent Discovery Fair and CII-DST’s “Steer the Big Idea” into one program, ‘IRIS – Initiative for Research & Innovation in Science’. Intel has joined hands with the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to jointly promote inventions and innovations among students and youth in India. IRIS 2008 has participants from across the country converging at the National level Fair in December. Projects selected from the National Fair represent India at the International Science Fairs. National level winners will represent India at IEYI 2008 and ISEF 2009.
