Research Forum

The Intel® Teach Program has been functional in India for the last six years monitoring and evaluation has been an integral part of the program. Six years down the line, a need was felt to study the impact of the program in a meaningful and systematic manner. Apart from the team, the educators associated with the Pre-Service program, especially the Core Committee, also articulated the need to research the impact of technology on education.

They felt that there was a gap between the practice and research, to be specific that the schoolteachers were using technology innovatively in the classrooms, and this was not being studied effectively through research. The Research Forum is the result of such needs, values and perspectives. The Forum seeks to document the research already done in the area of integration of technology in education, promote research in this area by supporting selected research projects, through capacity building workshop, and publish some research studies and Best practices, and some other initiatives. The Forum is led by a small group of academicians who form the Research Task Force.
