Research Task Force


The Research Task Force (RTF) was the result of the deliberations of the Core Committee. At the Core Committee Meeting held at Bangalore on 13th and 14th May, 2005, it was decided that a small group of academicians be formed with the objective of promoting research in Indian Universities in the area of Integration of Technology in Education. The RTF Members are educationists and research leaders interested in research in the area of Integration of Technology in Education. The RTF meetings are lively events where academic discussions often lead to great implementation ideas. The RTF has already done a Meta - analysis of the research done in this subject area. Its major task is to conduct the "Capacity Building Workshop on Research in the Integration of Technology in Education" for teacher educators drawn from various Universities.

Objectives of the RTF

  • To promote research in the Universities in the area of integration of technology in education

  • To advise and guide the Intel team on various strategies to promote research in the area of integration of technology in education

  • One expert from RTF to conduct research study collaboratively with Intel Teach Pre-Service Program

  • To lead the "Capacity Building Workshop on Research in the Integration of Technology in Education" for teacher educators drawn from various Universities

  • To help in publishing the Best Practices in the Integration of Technology in Education
